Tom Willemse 99c5ca9fb2 Fix some navigation section issues
- The main navigation bar now shows up on every page.

- For consistency the index page now has up/home links that both point to
  itself.

- The “up” link doesn't include a space that gets styled anymore.

Angry black prinny (looking like Tux), playing on a PSP

Hi, welcome! This is my website. I'm a software developer. I love Free Software and Open Source Software, and all of my projects are available for anyone to use. I also would love for anyone to contribute to any of them. I cant promise your contribution will be merged, but I can promise it will be considered and greatly appreciated regardless.

Gardening

After reading My blog is a digital garden, not a blog by Joel Hooks I'm fascinated by the idea of seeing my website as a digital garden. As opposed to a newspaper where people come and find out all the latest news about what I've been up to. I have no interest in providing a news service.

I really want to just write, even if it isn't useful for anyone. I have a blog as well. Its running on tekuti.

Mastering Emacs seems to do this. The front page is not a list of posts by date, but it seems just an excerpt from the very last one and then some paragraphs about different good articles on the site.

Emacs

The first topic I pay any attention to of course has to be Emacs. I write all the content for this site in Emacs, I try to work as much as I can in Emacs, and I have a couple of small contributions to Emacs. My blog features a tag about it, specifically with its own feed you can subscribe to, in case thats the only thing youre interested in.

My literate configuration

Every so often I get really drawn to remaking my entire configuration into a Literate Programming style. See my latest attempt and also my literate build files for this website.
